The Novosibirsk Aircraft Factory implements the scheduled work for the production of experimental samples of the unmanned aerial vehicle S-70 within the framework of the program called 'Okhotnik'. On the 3rd of August 2019 the experimental sample of the S-70 conducted its first flight that lasted 20 minutes. In the same year there was the first joint flight with the Su-57 fighter of the 5th generation.

The Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B  is a Russian stealth heavy unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) being developed by Sukhoi and Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG as a sixth-generation aircraft project. The drone is based on the earlier Mikoyan Skat, designed by MiG,and encompassing some technologies of the fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 fighter jet.

Serial purchases of the Okhotnik unmanned aircraft will be the next state defence procurement programme for 2024-2033, the Ministry of Defence is working on it currently.
