Bumerang is a prospective unified wheeled chassis developed by MIC. It was the base model for the infantry fighting vehicle with the same name, first presented to the public at the Victory Day Parade in 2015.
The cost of the future armored personnel carrier based on the Bumerang platform will be reduced by at least two thirds due to replacement of the overpriced components. “The Bumerang will be an inexpensive high-performance commercial vehicle with good cargo capacity and, most importantly, efficient protection, as well as very convenient troopers boarding/descent through the rear ramp,” - the talker emphasized to the Agency.
