"The [Il-114-300 ] aircraft has already been assembled. The airplane is undergoing ground tests and is preparing for the first flight. I believe in September, according to our plans, this aircraft will take off in the Moscow Region, in Zhukovsky," Slyusar said. He added that also bench tests, ground tests, training of a simulator complex, and an after-sales service system were underway.

Furthermore, Slyusar noted is particularly desired for regions that are hard to reach because it is designed for 68 passengers and a flight speed of 500 km/h in all types of weather, and can use unpaved runways and does not require a lot of ground equipment.

Slyuar added that UAC plans annually produce up to 12 of this aircraft.
