Early July, Defense News published its annual ranking of top 100 global defence companies, among which KTRV was once again included. According to this ranking, the  KTRV's revenues from the sale of military products declinedin 2020, compared with 2019.

However, according to the head of the Corporation, Boris Obinoov, the volume of production in the company, on the contrary, has increased: “The volume of production in 2020 amounted to 240 billion rubles [$3.3 billion], an increase of 7% over 2019. Defense News published a ranking that we have a slight decline - probably in dollar terms, as the dollar has risen. In fact, our production volume has increased, and the volume of sales has also increased and amounted to 104% compared to the previous year. At the same time, the net profit increased by 15% and amounted to 27.5 billion rubles [$3.71 million]. "

Obnosov stated that the average number of corporate employees dropped by 1.5% compared to 2019 and amounted to 53,500 people. He associated the decline in the number of employees with the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

Furthermore, KTRV's General Director addressed the matter of improving the financial situation of companies. One of the financially problematic assets is Concern «Granite Electron», which is currently undergoing a restructuring and is loaded by orders. As a successful example of financial recovery, there is «Dagdizel Plant», which was included in the corporation in 2015-2016. "At the time of entry, the plant was 'weighed down' by debt, this year we plan to achieve a record for the revenues of Dagdizel Plant up to 4.3 billion rubles [$58.2 million]," said the head of the KTRV.

«Dagdizel Plant» passed the rearmament programme in a record time, the enterprise completed the creation of a Russian electric torpedo - over the past 30 years, this is the first product of this class, it is supplied by orders of the Russian Ministry of Defence within the framework of the State Defence Order.

In 2021, the active development of new models of weapons and military equipment continues. “2021 is a decisive year for a large number of projects - we are obliged to complete a number of works within the framework of state tests: «Vympel» - 2 products; «Raduga» - 2 products; head platform - 1 product. A number of products are undergoing flight tests,” Obnosov said.

Furthermore, the head of the Corporation spoke about the social policy of the enterprise. According to Obnosov, social spending expenses in 2020 increased by 10% and amounted to 1 billion 110 million rubles [$15 million].
