The Russian Ministry of Defence has announced that as part of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum, foreign guests will be part of a roundtable discussion of Russia's National Security. "Contemporary World Order and Its Impact on the National Security of the Russian Federation" is the title of the event.
Various issue that tackle energy, economic, technological and environmental security, are on the agenda of the scientific discussion. Moreover, the agenda includes discussing the priorities for the development of international cooperation, as well as the principles of combating disinformation in the international information space.
This roundtable discussion is organised by the Military Institute (National Defence Management) of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to MoD, guests invited to take part in this event are: Representatives of the Joint Headquarters of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Defence of the CIS member states, federal executive bodies, military administration bodies, higher educational institutions and research institutes of the Russian Ministry of Defence, as well as the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
