What is new in Eurasia Air Show this year?

Eurasia Airshow 2020 has been postponed to 2-6 th of December 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Eurasia Airshow has amazing business development options this year. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the show has 3 modes of participation to show and business opportunities.

The first option is to be a Physical Exhibitor. In this mode of exhibition the exhibitors will join all meetings, B2B and B2G meetings, in person at the exhibition in Antalya International Airport.

The second option is to be a Hybrid Exhibitor. This option is for companies that cannot be present physically at Eurasia Airshow because of Covid-19, but still would like to be physically present at the show. We have prepared business suites for Hybrid Exhibitors to host their meetings and delegations during the show.

The third option is to be a Virtual Exhibitor. Virtual exhibitors have digital options to have their B2B and B2G meeting with in their schedule time.

So Eurasia Airshow 2020 will bring the fastest integration against Covid-19 pandemic and again bring the reel business opportunities for exhibitors.

I would like to stress that Eurasia Airshow 2020 will be the best place for Russian Companies to improve their business all over the world.

What is the importance of Russian participation in this show?

Eurasia Airshow has very strong relations with countries with which the Russian defence and aviation industry has relations and solid cooperation. Turkey, Iran, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Nigeria, Colombia, Brazil, Chile etc. are some of the countries which will participate in the Eurasia Airshow 2020 with high-level delegations; we are talking about at least the level of ministers or Chief of Armed Forces.

After the arrival of the S-400 systems, now Beriev-200s are starting their operation in Turkey. Therefore, we would like to stress that there are several options and opportunities for Russian business, both for civil aviation and military aviation industry.

I would like to stress that Eurasia Airshow 2020 will be the best place for Russian Companies to improve their business all over the world.

Has the delay caused by the pandemic affected the number of participating companies? When will the list of participants available for the public?

Changes forced by the pandemic had us develop a new plan for exhibiting. As I have told you already, our new plan for the pandemic includes three modes of participation as a Physical Exhibitor, a Hybrid Exhibitor, or a Virtual Exhibitor.

We expect a %40 increase in the number of exhibitors thanks to the facilitations we have to offer now. The same principle applies for buyers and delegations.

What does the Show offer exhibiters and participants? How many companies and delegations have confirmed their participation so far?

Eurasia Airshow always offers business opportunities to its participants. For now more than 300 companies and 87 delegations have confirmed their participation.

The Show is half military and half civilian, tell us more about special exhibits in both areas.

As a result of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, the world is hotter than before; we can see active military movement all over the world. Therefore, there will be particular interest in military aviation this year. When it comes to air defence systems, Eurasia Airshow is the best place for the companies to build their business.

How would civilian companies benefit from participating in Eurasia Air Show?

Our show has the 'Meet the Buyer Programme' and we will have more than 100 leading buyers focused on the civil aviation sector alone. It is well understood by now that the pandemic has deeply affected the civil aviation industry, but the business has to continue. Thus, meeting with the direct buyers is very important even during the hard times we are living.

What is the deadline for submitting applications for participation?

It depends on the participation type. Applications for Physical and Hybrid Participation will finish in mid-November 2020, whereas Virtual Participants can apply until the end of November. Our three modes of exhibiting are the fastest integration to our fast changing world . This is the best of our offers for this year.

What are the measures that you have taken to ensure the safety of participants and visitors during this pandemic?

For Physical Participation, we are working with Ministry of Health and the Mayors to have a safe show with the highest safety standards available in the world. We have taken all possible precautions which can be taken and we have declared them to our exhibitors, delegations and trade visitors. Accordingly, the number of Trade Visitors is going to be limited to 10,000 per day.  Also, this year we will not have Public Days, unfortunately, again due to the Covid-19.
