The Chinese Ministry of Defence Published on May 16th photos of the new ZTL-11 105mm 8x9 wheeled armoured assault gun vehicle that entered service with the Chinese Army.
The ZTL-11 is based on type 08 8x8 wheeled armoured vehicles family. It is the export variant of the vehicle is the ST1. It is already in service with the Chinese Marine Corps and was first shown to the public in September 2015 during a military parade in Beijing to commemorate the end of the World War II in Asia.
The published photos show the armoured assault vehicles attached to a combined brigade under the PLA 72nd Group Army drive on the highway to a designated training field recently, and through mounds of dust in speed during a recent field training exercise.
