Lavrov told that Moscow will implement contracts for weapon delivery to Iraq

The Russian Federation will implement contracts for weapon delivery to Iraq, Head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov told on Monday, October 7.

“We have a common opinion that we need to implement the decisions of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation which was held in April. We will also implement the existing contracts for the delivery of Russian military products to Iraq,” — the high-rank diplomat was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

Following the negotiations with his Iraqi colleague in Baghdad, Lavrov reminded that the Russian delegation includes the managers of the largest Russian state companies cooperating with Iraq.
