The artillerymen of the Yelninskiy motorized rifle division of the Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District have for the first time worked out the use of the self-propelled division of the self-propelled guns "Mtsa-S-M2" in a unified fire control system in the Bryansk region.

The crews of the Msta-S-M2 self-propelled howitzers used the equipment of the unified tactical control system (ESU TZ), installed for data exchange and fire adjustment in real-time.

The new control system for weapons and military equipment which is part of combat units allows information to be transmitted from guidance and control devices, which in its turn allows the division command to solve tactical and fire missions in real-time. Together with the automated removal of the spent cartridge case and the navigation system, the servicemen were able to achieve a rate of fire of up to 10 rounds per minute.

Gunners worked out the adjustment using unmanned aerial vehicles, a complex of reconnaissance systems for combat vehicles. Thanks to this, servicemen gain information and communication advantage over the enemy in the conditions of modern combined arms combat.

In total, about 500 servicemen of the Yelninskiy division of the Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, as well as about 25 units of weapons, military and special equipment, were involved in the exercise.
