The Navy cluster will be deployed for the third time during the VIII International Military-Technical Forum «Army-2022». The site will present new naval equipment, directions of development of the Russian Navy and will be available from August 15 to August 21.
The main complex exposition of the cluster will be located in Pavilion «C» as part of the stand of the Main Command of the Navy and the stands of enterprises developing military and special equipment in the interests of the Navy. At the stand of the Main Command of the Navy, not only young scientists, inventors and innovators of the Naval Academy, but also cadets and Nakhimov students of pre-university educational institutions of the Navy will present their developments.
Such major organizations as the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, Almaz - Antey JSC, the Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation, the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant, the Kronstadt Company, the Central Design Bureau of Marine Equipment Rubin, KMP JSC and others have already confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
Traditionally, the Forum will be attended by foreign military specialists of various types and branches of the armed forces. In 2021, despite the global pandemic, representatives of 117 countries, including 36 high-level delegations, came to the Patriot Exhibition Center, which fully confirms the international status of the Forum.
Within the Navy cluster, a scientific and business program is also being implemented, which will take place under the leadership of the Main Command of the Navy with direct participation in its organization of the VUNC of the Navy «VMA» and industrial enterprises. Experts will be able to exchange experience and discuss topical industry topics: areas of development and construction of the Marine Corps, ensuring unsinkability and fire safety, creating an artificial intelligence system to support decision-making in the management of the Navy, the development of diving equipment and underwater technologies, as well as ways to improve the effectiveness of training scientific personnel.
During the open days of the Army-2022 forum, students of naval schools, cadet corps, specialized schools, and other organizations of military-patriotic and military-technical orientation will visit the Navy cluster.
