Airbus will demonstrate its latest developments and projects in Russia at MAKS-2021. For the first time, the wide-body long-haul A350-1000 aircraft will be presented to the Russian audience. The company will also show the EC145 twin-engine helicopter and showcase space equipment produced in cooperation with Russian partners.

The A350-1000 is the newest and largest wide-body aircraft of the A350 family, designed for 440 passengers in a single-class layout. The liner will be presented at the static exposition and will take part in the MAKS-2021 flight program from 20-22 July. The aircraft uses continuous wing profile optimization technology to reduce drag and fuel consumption. The liner is equipped with the latest Rolls Royce Trent XWB 97 engines with 15% increased thrust. The flight range of the A350-1000 is 16100 km. More than 70% of the airframe is made of new generation materials, 53% of which are composites.
The static exhibition at MAKS-2021 will also feature one of the five EC145 helicopters of the Moscow Aviation Center operating in the Russian capital. Airbus Helicopters and IAC have been cooperating for over 14 years. During this time, the center's helicopters took part in saving the lives and health of more than 6400 patients in Moscow. Simplified access to the cockpit through wide side sliding doors or through the rear doors, a spacious cabin, as well as the high reliability of the aircraft, make this helicopter the best choice for medical tasks.
The Airbus Defence and Space division of Airbus is known for its fruitful cooperation with Russian enterprises and is the only Western space division that has experience in industry production localization in the Russian Federation. At MAKS-2021, the company will present samples of products made in Russia - solid-state power amplifiers. Airbus Defence and Space will present its promising developments related to the exploration and study of the Moon and deep space; it will also present a promising area for both the international and Russian markets- a global information system and services based on data from Earth remote sensing satellites.
At MAKS-2021, Airbus Defence and Space division will show space equipment produced by the joint venture Airbus Defence and Space and JSC «Russian Space Systems», and the Airbus Engineering Center in Moscow (ECAR) will demonstrate the results of its work and present current projects.
The Airbus stand will be located in Pavilion D3.

The Fifteenth International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 will be held in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, on July 20-25, 2021.
