Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant is in the process of preparing a new modified military helicopter and five new projects, said Leonid Belykh, director of the enterprise.

At the ceremony of presenting The Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation gold medals, Belykh said:
"Together with the Russian Helicopters holding, we are preparing for the production of new equipment. This is the production of a light helicopter, an offshore version of a helicopter, a new modification of a military helicopter and an airplane for regional lines."
Belykh added that the plant is still working during the pandemic, and that it has orders for the next two years.
Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, is the manufacturer of the Mi helicopters. The plant manufactures both civilian and military helicopters.
