Within the framework of International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY-2020, a roundtable discussion "Heroes and Anti-heroes. Truth and Myths about the Second World War" will be held.
The issue of honouring the memory of the great heroes that defended the right to freedom and independence of multiple nations of Russia and the World is of particular importance nowadays. During the discussion declassified documents and files about WWII from federal and institutional archives are to be presented.
Leading historians, government officials, members of veteran and public organizations, military members of the diplomatic corps are to be invited to take part in expert discussions.
The round table is organized by the Research Institute (of Military History) of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
