Rosoboronexport began promoting rifles made by private Russian company

The defense product exporter Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec) and the private Russian company Kbis (owner of the Lobaev Arms trademark) signed an agreement on mutual promotion of Lobaev Arms precise sniper rifles at foreign markets, a press release issued by Rosoboronexport on Tuesday states.

The company noted that the sniper rifles DVL-10M1 Diversant, TSVL-8 Stalingrad, DXL-4 Sebastopol and others have already been included in the “Civilian and Law Enforcement Weapons” section of Rosoboronexport’s catalog and the “Counterterrorist Weapons” special catalog. Besides that, rifles will be presented at the Rosoboronexport stand as part of topical foreign weapon shows starting 2020.

“I am sure that foreign experts will appreciate the superb accuracy and other performance benefits of these rifles. There is demand for such weapons at the world market,” - Rosoboronexport’s Deputy Director General Igor Sevastyanov was quoted as saying by the press service.

It was noted that the key potential customers of such weapons are the police and secret services of foreign countries, as well as sports and hunter clubs.

Previously, Rosoboronexport began promoting products made by another Russian private manufacturer, sniper rifles ORSIS made by Promtechnologiya, at the world market.
