Organisers of Defence Exhibition Athens (DEFEA) have announced their decision of moving DEFEA from May 2021 to the new dates, from 13th to 15th of July 2021, in Athens, Greece.
"The decision to transfer DEFEA two months later has as its main goal the formation of safer conditions for our exhibitors and visitors for the totally successful organization of the exhibition," organisers said in their statement.
This is the second time the exhibition is being rescheduled over COVID-19 concerns. DEFEA was supposed to be held in June 2020, but do the spread of the novel Coronavirus, it was shifted to May 2021.
"We confirm that your booking for DEFEA remains unchanged and is still valid for the new dates. We will be in contact with you shortly to discuss this directly," the organisers assured in their statement.
DEFEA is a high-profile international defence exhibition where international companies will present land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defence systems. It is held is under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence - General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) with the support of Hellenic Manufacturers Association of Defence Material and is organised by ROTA Exhibitions Greece.
