Digital control of the system will increase the reliability of the units, and the reconfiguration function will allow distributing the load among the system elements with maximum efficiency.

The developer of the power supply system is JSC Ufa Aggregate Production Association of the Technodinamika holding. Samples for flight tests are planned to be delivered in 2021-2022 in accordance with the schedule of the SSJ-NEW programme.
In December 2020, the head of the Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov, said that work was underway on a new version of the Sukhoi Superjet 100. The upgraded version of the superjet, SSJ NEW will have domestically-made components that will replace imported components. He added that the new version of the superjet should be ready in 2024.
