ISDM Remote Engineering Mining System

The upcoming Victory Parade on Moscow's Red Square, which will take place on 24 June, will include the display and unveiling of several Russian weapons systems. Among those is the the ISDM remote engineering mining system.

Earlier this year in March, the Ministry of Defence of Russia had announced that the latest engineering system of remote mining ISDM will be shown for the first time in the Victory Parade on Red Square, which was planned for 9 May but was delayed due to the spread of Covid-19.

This remote mining system was created on the basis of a KAMAZ car with increased payload. ISDM based on the remote installation method of minefields, which is the safest and most maneuverable, has a high degree of automation and autonomy of combat work.

This system uses modern high-performance new-generation mines that fully meet the requirements of international agreements on their self-destruction. It is made of two components: the multiple launcher and its transport-loading vehicle.

BMPD/LiveJournal shared a photo that was taken recently of the combat vehicle of the ISDM remote-mining engineering system moving to Moscow to participate in the Victory Parade on Red Square.

In total, 225 units of weapons and military equipment will be involved in the military parade, of which 24 of the latest models of military equipment will be demonstrated for the first time.
