Rosoboronexport (ROE), the state intermediary agency for Russia's exports/imports of defense-related and dual-use products, technologies, and services, will participate in IDEX 2021 from 21-25 February 2021 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Rosoboronexport said that it is organising a joint Russian exposition at the exhibition. " The Russian delegation includes representatives of federal authorities, leading holdings, and industrial enterprises," said ROE.
The thematic focus of IDEX is weapons and military equipment for ground forces, air, and naval forces, as well as air defense forces. Exhibitors are given a unique opportunity to show full-scale samples of weapons and military equipment not only at a static parking lot but also in action at a demonstration range on the territory of the exhibition complex (overcoming a water barrier, running over rough terrain, etc.) and a water channel (test of small boats and amphibians).
IDEX is held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and is organised by the Capital Events in association and with the full support of the UAE Armed Forces.
This is the only international defence exhibition and conference in the MENA region demonstrating the latest technology across land, sea and air sectors of defence. It is a unique platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and armed forces throughout the region.
This event takes place biennially at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), which is centrally located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The IDEX exhibition takes over 100% of the state-of-the-art exhibition centre, utilising 133,000sqm of event space.
