This year, the Corporation presented more than 50 models of ships, vessels and marine equipment. The central place in the exposition was taken by the Vityaz AUV (Autonomous underwater vehicle) marine robotic complex, which reached the deepest point in the oceans ever reached in the world, becoming the first and only fully autonomous underwater vehicle in the world that reached the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

Natalya Antropova, Deputy Director General of VNII Center, noted that diversification in the shipbuilding industry is advancing at a faster pace. “In 2020, despite all the difficulties, we expect a level of 27.5% from shipbuilders. And by 2030 we expect to bring the share of civilian products to reach 42.1%, ”she said.

In turn, USC vice-president for technical development Vasily Boytsov called the Vityaz-D autonomous deep-sea vehicle an example of a successful, “outstripping” diversification.

The presentation of this underwater robotic complex, developed by CDB MT "Rubin" by order of the Advanced Research Fund, also took place within the framework of the forum on August 26.
