The center was opened in April 2019 in Vietnam. Five engines operated in Vietnam have already been repaired in the center.
Integrated logistic support (ILS) centers of UEC-Klimov for helicopter engine maintenance may be opened in China, the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia, United Engine Corporation (UEC) Press Service told TASS on Wednesday.
UEC-Klimov’s service network is also expanding actively in Russia. For example, a center for medium engine repairs was established by UEC-Klimov and UTair-Engineering at the Plekhanovo airport in Tyumen last year. 12 TV3-117VM engines designed by UEC-Klimov were repaired at the center during the last year.
Applications for the VK-2500PS-03 helicopter engine type certificate have been submitted in India, China, South Korea, Brazil, Columbia and Peru.
