The President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army, Aleksandar Vučić, attended  the demonstration of new unmanned aerial vehicles CH-92A of the Serbian Army, at the airport "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica.

The new unmanned aerial vehicles CH-92A has the ability to attack with laser guided missiles, and an enhanced airspace reconnaissance capability. President Vučić pointed out that these are six new unmanned aerial vehicles could shoot at their targets from a distance of about nine kilometres, and at the same time record the terrain and position of enemy units and objects deep in the enemy territory.

"It is becoming a modern way of warfare. We could not and did not have any chance to compete with more serious countries. We are starting now and it is important that we have agreed on technology transfer with the Chinese side, so that we are slowly introducing our Pegasus into the system of the Serbian Army," said Vučić.

We are learning and we are taking over engineering technology which we have not fully finalised. For the time being we have 18 missiles, and we will buy more, they are not expensive, but these are the best weapons and this was shown during the warfare in Yemen and Saudi Arabia – solely by means of unmanned aerial vehicles, with no human casualties, but the results are the most powerful and you deliver the hardest blow to your potential enemy," Vučić added.

Serbia's Army is the first in the region to be equipped with CH-92A unmanned aerial vehicles. These UAVs have an action radius greater than 250 kilometres, and a maximum flight altitude of 5,000 meters, and a speed that is slightly less than 200 kilometres per hour. The armed drones CH-92A has a multifunctional system that can be used to perform a wide range of tasks, such as reconnaissance from the airspace, accurate determination of coordinates of observed targets on the ground, automatic tracking of moving targets on the ground, battlefield intelligence, artillery fire correction , assessment of the effects of the action, attack by laser - guided missiles on targets on the ground, laser irradiation of the target due to the action of other laser - guided ammunition - bombs and missiles.
