Ruselectronics presented the multifunction export Korsar UAV for the first time

Rostec’s Ruselectronics presented an export version of the Korsar UAV with a set of mission equipment for the first time at the MAKS-2019 International Aerospace Show.

The export version of the Korsar system developed by the Luch Design Bureau (part of Ruselectronics) has a minimum operating range of 100 km, speed of 100 to 180 km/h and a minimum flight time of 7.5 hours. UAV operating flight altitude - 100 to 4000 m. System parameters: takeoff weight - 200 kg, wing span - 6.5 m, fuselage length - 4 m.

The main system advantage is its open architecture, enabling to adapt its capabilities for various missions, from weather reconnaissance and aerial photography to target finding and cargo transportation. Thus, the multifunctional Korsar with a complete set of mission equipment can replace an entire fleet of specialized UAVs.

Within the framework of the Korsar project, innovative electrical power generation systems, a compact engine start system and an electronic engine control for the UAV power plant were developed.
