Missiles Units of S-300 Systems Conduct Drills in Astrakhan

Combat crews of S-300 systems of the Northern Fleet anti-aircraft missile regiment carried out combat firing on target missiles during tactical exercises at the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region. All air targets were successfully hit.

Missile units of the S-300 systems practiced a full range of actions from detecting air targets to using weapons on them. The fired missile-targets operated at different heights, speeds and directions, simulating the means of an enemy air attack of various types; from aircrafts to cruise missiles.

At the Ashuluk training ground, servicemen of the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Northern Fleet fulfilled combat training tasks. Anti-aircraft missile systems were deployed from the Arctic to the Astrakhan region and will return back after the exercise.
