76 Su-57 to be Delivered to Russian MoD by 2028

The Sukhoi Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KnAAPO) plans to deliver 76 Su-57 aircraft the Russian Ministry of Defence by 2028, said Ilya Tarasenko, General Director of PJSC Sukhoi Company.

"As part of the State Defence Order, we plan to supply the Ministry of Defence with 76 Su-57 aircraft complexes by 2028. Such workload allows us to ensure the dynamic development of the enterprise and decent working conditions for our employees,” said Tarasenko during a visit by the Russian Minister of Defence Sergey Shoigu to the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant.

The press office of United Aircraft Corporation reported that Shoigu announced the intentions of Defence Ministry to conclude an additional contract that by the end of the year with Sukhoi for the supply of multifunctional Su-35S fighters.
