“Kalashnikov drones took part in the operations in Syria. They have proven themselves well, the Defence Ministry is happy to buy them, ”he said.

According to the head of Rostec, these drones are not only reconnaissance but also combat ones. Chemezov stressed that despite their compactness and less power compared to large drones, they demonstrated high efficiency.

Chemezov added that the Korsar attack drone developed by Rostec is undergoing a trial operation.

The Zala Aero Group, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern, showed the new Lancet UAV for the first time at the military-technical forum ARMY-2019. Attack drone "ZALA Lancet" is able to independently carry out reconnaissance and attack the target. The novelty can be attributed to the latest generation of weapons - loitering ammunition. This complex is capable of delivering strikes in the air, on water, and on land without the creation of land and sea infrastructure.

The Korsar drone was first demonstrated as part of the Victory Parade on May 9, 2018, in Moscow. The main tasks of the UAV are reconnaissance, delivery of goods, striking, and conducting electronic warfare.
